Michael Jackson: King of Pop's parents Joseph and Katherine married for 60 years -- set to divorce

The fans of Michael Jackson are still trying to get over his sudden and shocking passing. And while this is a fact, the legendary performer continues to make headlines daily. There is a new report that discusses the fact that his mother Katherine Jackson and father Joseph Jackson are allegedly set to officially divorce after being married for sixty years.

According to a report by Showbiz411, a source says of the alleged divorce: "Confirmed. The friend says a couple of things have contributed to this decision. One is Joe Jackson’s comment last spring that Katherine caused Michael’s death. 'She’s never gotten over it.'"

While the news of an official divorce may come as a surprise to some, the Jacksons have not lived together for a number of years. Joseph Jackson has been living in Las Vegas while Katherine Jackson has been living in Encino at the family compound. She is taking care of Michael Jackson's three children: Paris, Prince and Blanket.
