"Marijuana" deal goes bad 3 dead in West Hollywood

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left Three men dead inside a WEST HOLLYWOOD apartment Thursday night. 31-year-old Harold Yong Park, a Korean man from East Hollywood, was taken into custody this morning by Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputies this morning.
At around 11 a.m., a patrol car outfitted with license plate recognition technology in the Lomita area located Park's car and initiated a traffic stop.  He was arrested without incident and a "significant amount (multiple pounds) of marijuana" was found in his car, according to the Sheriff's Department.Detectives believe the marijuana was taken from the West Hollywood apartment following the murders.  On Friday, various news reports indicated the incident could be related to robbery and medical marijuana. While the motive is still officially under investigation, officials believe robbery is involved. [Update: Here's Park's booking information. The low bail amount is probably for the marijuana charge, but he'll be held as a suspect in the case.]"The people of West Hollywood can rest easy tonight," said Homicide Lt. Pat Nelson, crediting the amount of exhaustive work put in by investigators, crime lab and deputies. At 9:18 p.m. on Thursday, shots rang out at the Kings Road Arms Apartment 612 N. Kings Road. Responding sheriff's deputies found three deceased men inside the apartment with gunshot wounds.
